Offshore installations and HTV services
Operate with confidence in harsh offshore conditions with SPS-certified DP2 vessels, dual cranes and ocean-going speeds up to 20 kn. With in-house engineering and full mobilisation under one roof, SAL delivers transport and installation as a single, highly effective package you can trust.
Advance offshore projects with a versatile DP fleet, cranes up to 2,000 t, removable fly-jibs, TLQs for up to 100 people and state-of-the-art equipment built for remote operations. Supported by in-house studies and flagship vessels, we help set new benchmarks for innovation and reliability at sea.
DP-equipped
heavy lift
Operate confidently with Type 183 vessels – MV Lone (DP2) and MV Svenja (DP1) – tailored for offshore installation and support.
Heavy lift
up to 2,000 t
Dual 1,000 t cranes (up to 2,000 t in tandem) with optional Fly-Jib extensions for added height and reach.
More height.
More reach.
Optional Fly-Jibs extend crane capability for tall modules and awkward geometries – keeping complex lifts on plan.
Transport & installation
One package under one roof: in-house engineering, planning and mobilisation for seamless offshore campaigns.
Speed &
endurance
High transit speed, large deck areas and robust kit – built for tough environments and remote locations.
People &
safety
Clear procedures, stop-work authority and an active safety culture backed by SAL’s QHSE systems.
Offshore heavy lift in focus
Our dedicated offshore pair – MV Lone (DP2) and MV Svenja (DP1; DP2 upgrade planned) – combine dynamic positioning with 2 × 1,000 t cranes (up to 2,000 t in tandem), large working decks and SAL’s Fly-Jib option for added hook height and outreach.
Engineered and mobilised in-house, they deliver tightly coordinated transport-and-installation campaigns.
MV Lone (Type 183)
Lone brings DP2 station-keeping for controlled offshore operations, dual 1,000-t cranes (combinable to 2,000 t) and a clear, high-strength deck for major assemblies. Fly-Jib compatibility adds extra height/reach when geometry is tight. Built for demanding lifts, nearshore installations and complex project spreads – with methods, sea-fastening and mobilisation handled by SAL Engineering.
MV Svenja (Type 183)
Svenja pairs DP capability (DP1; DP2 upgrade planned) with 2 × 1,000-t cranes (to 2,000 t in tandem) and a large, unobstructed deck – ideal for tall modules, substations and offshore wind components. Fly-Jib option supports added hook height/outreach, while in-house engineering, planning and mobilisation keep schedules on plan from quay to field.
