SAL Heavy Lift expands deck carrier fleet
SAL Heavy Lift is pleased to announce a further expansion of its deck carrier fleet. The German heavy lift and engineering specialist has acquired two semi-submersible deck carriers, MV Sun Shine and MV Sun Rise, from former owner Pan Ocean (Korea). Both vessels are scheduled for delivery in Europe between October 2025 and April 2026 and will be commercially operated as part of the JSI Alliance.
JSI Alliance Opens Office in Bilbao
The new office in the northern Spanish shipping and logistics hub will handle commercial representation and provide port agency services across Spain, Portugal, and North Africa.
MV Lone achieves new open-top load load line assignment
We are delighted to announce a significant achievement for our vessel MV Lone. In accordance with existing SPS-Code requirements and in preparation for her upcoming IP-Code certification in February 2025, the vessel has been assigned a new open-top load line, increasing her maximum draft to an impressive 8.5m, boosting the corresponding deadweight capacity by 3300 tons.
